From simple consultation to joint projects
And so my path to growth began. I visited in person the morning of the meeting, then in person the next morning, and I also had the opportunity to save the environment and go to Sigulda Castle with a BNI member, who was able to outline the benefits and challenges of BNI in more detail along the way. After the in-person morning, my realization was: if BNI gives me a fishing rod, then I go fishing, and that's how I became a member.
I like the regular training at BNI and I also prepared my 4-minute training program specifically about how BNI helped me solve a problem, because I didn't realize before that my business is based on relationships, while deals are by-products of relationships that form organically when a business is built with a desire to help others.
Soon after my first few months in the group, I was offered the role of a greeter, and then an event organizer, which aligns with my business goal of filling and enjoying life. Gathering events are one of the best ways to do that.
The key to my success story is the visibility and recognition provided by the BNI logo. I recommend using it for every member. For example, when meeting online, remember to use the BNI logo in the background, as it opens up wider opportunities for deals and recommendations. A vivid example for me is the BNI Segewold logo, which gave me the opportunity to go from a simple planned consultation to 40 giant coloring posters ZERO WASTE CITY order.
My takeaway: BNI is the path to your success. Only by walking this path can you know where it will take you.
