However, the greatest value of buckwheat is the richness of vitamins and microelements: 100 grams of buckwheat contains 12% of the daily dose of iron, 1% of calcium, 6% of vitamin B1 or thiamine, 25% of B2 (riboflavin), 35% of niacin, 10% of vitamin B6, 7% of folic acid, 12% of pantothenic acid, 57% of magnesium, 34% of phosphorus, 16% of zinc, 55% of copper, 65% of magnesia, 11% of the daily dose of selenium. Buckwheat does not contain gluten – this is important for people whose bodies cannot break down gluten.
