Store in a dry, cool place.
300 g dates
100 ml of water
pinch of salt
200 g whole grain oatmeal
150 g cashew nuts
50 g salted peanuts
100 g dark chocolate chips. You will have water at home, but you can fill up everything else @ieber.lv
The amount of ingredients in the recipe will yield approximately seven bars. One bar contains approximately 350 kilocalories.
Process:
1Pour boiling water over the dates so that they are completely covered, and soak for 1 hour, then drain the water.
2Add 100 ml of water to the dates, add a pinch of salt and blend everything into a smooth mass.
3Separately blend the oatmeal with the cashews until the consistency of flour. Pour into a bowl, add 2 tbsp of the prepared date paste. Mix to form a pliable mass that can be rolled into a ball. Pour the mass into the mold and smooth out.
4Cover it with a layer of date paste. Sprinkle a layer of peanuts on top. Place the preparation in the freezer for 2 hours.
5Remove from the refrigerator, cut into seven pieces with a sharp knife, pour chocolate melted in a water bath over each bar. Place in the refrigerator and chill until the chocolate has set.

First of all, I really like cashews. Second, they are sometimes cheaper here than in other online stores where I buy products, especially nuts and seeds. Third, and most importantly, I use cashews in making vegetable pâté/spread. Cashews are the main ingredient in my spread, which also includes yeast flakes, kala namak salt, onion and garlic powder, vegetable oil, water, dried dill, spices... everything is done by feeling, creatively, listening to what my taste buds tell me. When it's ready, I put it in the refrigerator to "crisp" and after a few hours I can spread it on bread. Enjoy!
