Grains contain starch, protein, fat, amino acids, organic acids, glycosides, vitamins E, B1, B2, A, K.
Oats also contain phosphorus, iron, cobalt, magnesium, zinc, aluminum, potassium, boron, iodine. No other plant contains as much zinc as oats. Oats contain enzymes that improve the absorption of carbohydrates.

APPLICATION IN FOLK MEDICINE
Grain infusion. Pour cold water over the grains in a ratio of 1:10, let stand for 1 day. Take 0.5-1 glass 2-3 times a day before meals. Used as a diuretic and a regulator of the metabolic processes of the heart muscle and nervous tissue.
Grain alcohol infusion. Grains are poured with wine alcohol in a ratio of 1:10. It has a calming effect.
Foot baths. Prepare foot bath water from oats and oak bark. Reduces sweating of the feet and peeling of the epidermis. Duration of the bath is 15-20 minutes, every day.
Grain decoction. 1 cup grains, 2 cups water. Simmer over low heat in a water bath until half of the liquid has evaporated. Add 1 tbsp. honey. Take ¼ – ½ cup 3 times a day. Use as a diuretic.

The juice of sprouted oat grains and fresh leaves is a strengthening remedy after the flu, colds, against insomnia and neurosis. A decoction prepared in this way is also recommended as a strengthening remedy. Pour 1 cup of grains with 1 liter of water, bring to a boil and continue to heat over low heat until the volume is reduced to 1/2 liter. Strain the resulting decoction, which has the consistency of thick jelly, add 2 cups of milk, heat, add 4 teaspoons of honey. Drink warm 2-3 times a day.
Oat grains contain a lot of vitamin B1 (0.54 mg/100 g) and vitamin PP (more than 0.10 mg/100 g and more than 1.0 mg/100 g, respectively), a lot of lecithin (0.4 - 0.5%), linoleic acid (2.46%), choline. Oat grains are a valuable source of phosphorus (more than 300 mg/100 g), magnesium (more than 100 mg/100 g) and iron (more than 3 mg/100 g). The amount of these elements in oat groats is considered very high. The grains contain a lot of calcium (51 - 100 mg/100 g), potassium (251 - 400 mg/100 g), copper, but little sodium (20 - 49 mg/100 g).

Hello, I make oat water and oat milk with oat grains. The water is ready after 24 hours. If I pour water into the grains (250g per 3 liters) a couple of times, the oat grains start to grow roots, then I put them in a blender, add water until it covers the grains and blend, squeeze it through a sieve, I get oat milk.
