In the creation of the album, a big thank you goes to the children, because they are the ones who inspire us the most to write children's songs.
By working with children every day, looking at them and observing them, you get to know them, see what they are interested in, what makes them happy and sad.
I observe what they do, what their favorite toys are. I try to connect all of this with the events that happen in nature, in spring, summer, autumn, winter, and dress it up with the sounds of music!
Children are also the first to hear and appreciate my songs.
And when I see children's eyes sparkle as they listen and sing, I am very happy and grateful to God for the lyrics and melodies He gives me!

About the song and music author:
Ivars Rausis – born on November 9, 1964 in Cēsis, into the family of music teacher Lūcija Rausis. As a child, he wanted to become a train conductor and also compose music.
Studied at the best – Cēsis 1st Primary School – with a music focus. Learned to play the accordion. Under the influence of the excellent class teacher Aija Tīrone, both Ivars and the other classmates set great goals for their lives. He continued his music studies at the Alfred Kalniņš Cēsis Music Secondary School, in the choir conducting department (teacher Līga Priedīte) and at the Jāzeps Vītols Music Academy (at that time at the conservatory, in the class of Prof. Gido Kokars).
Because of his peaceful nature and surname, his classmates began to call him Raušukas.
Ivars has raised four wonderful children, has always been a caring father and a good husband, and is currently also a sportsman to six grandchildren of various ages. He began writing songs for the little ones while working at the Livu preschool educational institution to expand his repertoire of musical lessons.
Before that, he had also written songs with spiritual lyrics – both for the youth choir of the Cēsis Friendly Call Gymnasium and the senior choir "Ābele" of the Cēsis Culture and Tourism Center.
In his free time, Ivars enjoys cooking delicious meals, swimming, cycling, and gardening.
His big dream is to travel more often and see with his own eyes the entire beautiful world created by God!
